Hi, my name is Sharon.  I’m the person behind Coppy Bridge Blinds.

I was bought my first sewing machine when I was 10 by my Grandma.  She was a sewing machinist and I used to stand in front of her, pulling the fabric from the machine while she worked.  Now I’ve grown up, I know how frustrating that must have been!  She used to pass me scraps of fabric to sew together as practise.  It wasn’t long before I was making dresses for my friend Fiona and myself, which we wore when we played out.

My first job as a machinist was sewing pharmaceutical filter cloths – a very precise task which needed a good level of concentration and skill.

I’ve kept my passion for sewing alive throughout my own life, working for friends and relatives every time some blinds, curtains or soft furnishings have been needed.

That’s why Coppy Bridge was started: to share my passion and give people the chance to buy…
